Solution Clothing Co | Screen Printing Design

Apparel design is a favorite for me because it gets by far the most exposure and is generally youthful. Clothing design is also very literal in a sense that you only have one shot to get your message out. Not like a website or brochure where you have several pages to comunicate your ideas.

Solution Clothing’s market exists in the west coast hip hop scene. Their goal is to promote the raw and edgy expressionism of today’s inner city youth.

All of our design work for Solution is done in Adobe Illustrator so that it can be sized and manipulated for any application. They like their art to be printed as big as it can be on thier shirts and clothing so its nice to have everything in a vector source format.

This particular design was provided to us as a pen drawing and needed to be colorized and converted for the screen printing process. We like to work with client provided artwork because it tends to be more organic. It also possesses an element of originality that translates well within the underground sect.
