Shigatse Valley Organics is a Bay Area company in the health foods industry that imports dried Goji berries. These berries are extremely high in antioxidants, very healthy and beneficial for the entire body regardless of what the almighty FDA says.

For most graphic designers, product packaging epitomizes a successful career. For us, successful branding is where it’s at.

This project started with a logo of course. Their logo had to capture the East Indian health food export market. And appeal to the growing trend in body cleanse dieting.

After the bags were done we focused on the marketing materials & website

This project was for a local Redding Area tattoo shop called Eternally Inked, And was to be auctioned off at a local North State benefit.

Squirly Industries is a local apparel company focused on the extreme sports market. They provide custom graphic kits for dirtbikes along with a solid line of t-shirts and clothing.

This project required a database driven ecommerce package with expandability for a rapidly growing product line. We chose to go with a free open source set up that could be manipulated to meet their needs as well as managed with minimal web knowledge.

We then started with a 3D logo treatment to get the design rolling. Working in a 3D environment allows for lighting and perspective capabilities that are difficult to achieve in Photoshop. We opt to use 3D where ever possible. When you hear 3D don’t be so quick to think dollar signs, in most cases your logo and/or product can be brought to life and even animated in a very short period of time using today’s software.

The logo needs to be dynamic as it will often set the overall standard for the rest of the project. Squirly’s target market is centered around the young, edgy and competitive youth associated with motocross, skateboarding & bmx among other action sports venues. So our job was to accurately showcase their personality and product line while maintaining functionality and consistency.

The package we provide is a highly customizable, dynamic shopping cart that can support thousands of products. It has built in payment modules, shipping options and ssl integration. Or it can work well with a few products tied into a simple paypal express account.

This particular project also called for a clothing photo shoot along with some added photoshop treatment for the graphic kits.

This project was centered around a re-styling of an existing idea. The restaurant sits inside a historic building in the heart of downtown Redding called the Lorenz Hotel. And has a reputation for great breakfast and lunch as well as a quaint little coffee & espresso cafe.

We thought the existing hand lettered sign on the building would be of great use in our efforts to convey a hip but rustic image across the board. So we photographed the script and traced it out to a vector file. As mentioned before vector allows for the widest range in applications and is a great way to preserve your logo’s integrity for future use.

We then photographed the building itself and gave it the classic contrast level treatment. Threw in some hand drawn swirls & vines and outputted files for business cards and t-shirts (coming soon).

If you are new to the Redding area we highly recommend this restaurant. They are known for their great food and good prices. And while you’re there don’t forget to pic up one of the fresh new Deja Vu t’s designed by Yours, truely.
